Optimized routes

Meal Delivery Route Software, Synced with Spoke

Your clients and your routes in one place, optimized in the Spoke dispatch app your drivers already use, and the delivered days back in time for billing.

The route and the claim should agree

For a meal program, the route is where a covered service actually happens. A client added to the wrong route, still on a route after their authorization ended, or skipped on a day the program bills anyway, each of those becomes a problem the day the plan audits your claims.

Zeumatic keeps the route next to the record. You assign clients to routes in Zeumatic; the routes and their stops are sent to Spoke, where they are optimized and dispatched to drivers. When a client goes on hold, ends their service or changes address, the next route reflects it without anyone retyping a stop in a second tool.

Spoke sends back what happened on the road. The deliveries it confirms come back to Zeumatic day by day, so you can see each client's delivered days next to their authorization, compare the plan with what was driven, and (when you turn it on) bill only the days that were really delivered.

Routes are shared across the companies of one account when a kitchen delivers for several programs, and each delivery still belongs to the company whose client received it.

From client list to delivered day

  1. 1

    Assign clients to routes

Pick the route for each client from a list. Clients on hold or without a valid authorization are kept off it.

  2. 2

    Sync to Spoke

Routes and stops are sent to the Spoke dispatch app, where they are optimized and handed to your drivers.

  3. 3

    Drivers deliver

Drivers work in Spoke as they do today; each completed stop is recorded there.

  4. 4

    Delivered days come back

Confirmed deliveries return to Zeumatic, ready to compare with the schedule and to bill from.

Questions we hear

Who optimizes the routes, Zeumatic or Spoke?

Spoke. Zeumatic sends it your routes and stops and keeps them in sync with your client records; Spoke optimizes the order and dispatches the drivers.

Do our drivers have to change apps?

No. Drivers keep using Spoke. Your office works in Zeumatic, and the two stay in sync.

What does billing only delivered days mean?

With that setting on, a claim only includes the days Spoke confirmed as delivered for that client. A missed or skipped stop is not billed.

Can we compare what was planned with what was delivered?

Yes. Each route can be compared day by day with what Spoke recorded, so a gap shows up before it reaches a claim.

Can one route serve clients of two of our companies?

Yes. A route can be shared by the companies of one account (a kitchen delivering for two programs) while each delivery stays with the company whose client received it.

What happens to a client's stop when their authorization ends?

They stop being billable from that date, and the daily checks flag them so the stop can come off the route before the next delivery.
